JARAND HERDAL

After having made one of Norway’s first science fiction feature films as a 16-year-old, Jarand Herdal moved to Los Angeles to study at the prestigious film school, University of Southern California’s Cineamtic Arts. While studying at the Steven Speilberg and George Lucas owned institution, Jarand directed music videos for artists such as Astrid S, Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, and Nicky Romero, which have been viewed more than 200 million times. His music video for the band Broiler, featuring actor Danny Trejo, was nominated for best music video at the Grimstad Short Film Festival. 

Jarand returned to Norway to make “Cadaver”, Norway’s first Netflix feature film. “Cadaver” premiered as one of the world’s most popular films on the streaming service in October, 2020.
