HARALD ZWART

Born in Holland and raised in Norway, Harald Zwart received his formal training at the renowned Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam. He was soon established as one of Europe’s most successful advertising and music video directors. His commercial credits include BMW Mini, Sky Television, Capital One, Nissan, Ford and Nokia. He has won numerous awards for his commercial work.

Harald moved from Oslo to Los Angeles, and became the first Norwegian director to be accepted into The Director’s Guild of America. He made his American film debut with ONE NIGHT AT MCCOOL’S, starring Liv Tyler and Michael Douglas and has continued making Hollywood Films including THE KARATE KID remake with Jackie Chan and recently released the Norwegian epic THE 12TH MAN.
