The 12th Man

Synopsis

North of the Arctic Circle, in freezing Troms, 1943. Twelve Norwegian resistance fighters in a fishing boat are attacked by a German minesweeper. One is killed, ten are captured, tortured and executed. Only the twelfth man gets away. Jan Baalsrud (25) is stuck on a snow-covered island surrounded by ice water with German soldiers chasing him. All he has to survive is his physical and mental strength – and an unbreakable chain of fearless Norwegians, willing to risk their lives for a fellow human being and freedom fighter.
